Cecchetti v's Vaganova

What is the significant difference between the Cecchetti and Vaganova ballet styles?

Re: Cecchetti v's Vaganova

Cecchetti is more conservative in alignment of the hips and legs. Extensions are kept lower for more aligned placement. The use of the upper body is also more controlled.

The closest to Cecchetti style you'd see in choreography is probably Bournonville. You won't see it so evident in Russian choreography.

I'm sure the rest of the details in difference could fill a large book.
