History
I am trying to find out the history of the snooker world building and generall site of the plot. Owners, deaths, trade, etc anything that i can get i am appreciative of. many thanks |

This is probably rather unhelpful, but the club has been there for years... thats about all I know, sorry (told you it was unhelpful)

Hi, when I was a child it was A CAR REPAIR , workshop I think it was called Chapmans Garage ther was a sign which came to a point from both sides of the entrance lane at Woodfield St, I can find out more from a MR Willy Eric HARRIS, in his eighties a long serving member in the Grove Club,Morriston who has a very good knowledge on the old shops/ busniss community of Morriston I, will let you know after seeing him all the best D.H. |

Hi Nick, I do concur with Dursley, it was the site of Chapman's Garage, a motor vehicle repair shop. A handy short cut from Strawbury place to Cook's the Fishmonger or Baker's shop, 1950-1960, Merlyn......
