Thank you very much. I will be flying into Birmingham International. I am staying in Tamworth. I was hoping to go to the Cotswolds from Tamworth. I do hope we can make it. After seeing the website I don't think my trip will be complete unless I do. Although I do plan on returning late 2003 or spring 2004. It will give me something to look forward to for the next trip.

Dear Barb,
You don't mention which part of Birmingham you are going to. You probably know it is the UK's second largest city and therefore big. The nearest Cotswold village is Broadway (the Northern gatepost to the Cotswolds and is about 1.25 hours driving time from the city centre. Tamworth is also about the same time away.
You must visit the Cotswolds whilst you are over here - the place where time has stood still for 300 years.

Replying to: I just found this site. I am coming into Birmingham in Jan. How far away is the Cotswolds area? Some of these places are so beautiful. I'm coming from the US. This is my 1st time abroad. I will be staying in Tamworth. |
