Dear Debbie,
Some thoughts about travelling to London from Broadway:
If you are staying in Broadway my recommendation is that you travel to London Paddington from Moreton-in-Marsh station. The station is about a 20min drive from Broadway and is it is nearer to London the train fare is cheaper (refer First Great Western website).
I often travel to London from Moreton and do not find it difficult to find a parking space at the station. It currently costs £2.50 per day to park the car. Trains run hourly and take approx. 90 mins to Paddington.
If you drive into the centre of London be aware of the Congestion Charge currently £8 Monday to Friday 7am to 6pm. It would take a couple of hours to drive and parking in the centre is expensive.
Regards,
Debbie |
