I'm sure you'll love the area when you visit. Mum & I were there earlier this year.
One thing your boys might enjoy is the Dragonfly Maze at Bourton-on-the-Water. I found it on the net before we left Australia but didn't see any advertising for it in the area. I love mazes so we had a go. It's a bit different to the usual maze - there's a puzzle to solve as you go around. The reward at the end is finding the golden dragonfly (if you've solved all the clues). Fun for adults, should be great for kids the age of your boys.
