Several years ago, my husband, my daughter and I stayed in a farmhouse in the Cotswolds area and had dinner in Bourton on the Water. We ate at a little restaurant that had a rotating dessert glass case and my husband selected a piece of Banoffee pie that he fell in love with. I have even found a similar recipe and tried to make it myself, but the restaurant was much better.
I am trying to locate the restaurant for a walking group who will be staying in the area in May. They are very anxious to try the pie. I told them I thought I could find the restaurant, but am not exactly sure where it was other than I know it was near one of the bridges and had wonderful little English cottage windows. If someone can refer me to the correct place, I'm sure our friends would be grateful and would love to order Banoffee pie for their whole group. Their mouths are watering already. |
