Message:   Thank you for your response. I wish it had been just one night, but it was not. On April 23rd, we drove back into the village to find it filled with smoke. It was so dense, we thought it was fog (as I said). We had hope this would not continue, but it did. My friends arrived Saturday, April 26th and it was still continuing. We walked into the village for to get some things needed for their stay, and quickly returned to the cottage because the smoke/odor was so bad.

It IS a lovely village filled with many wonderful things, but this was ongoing for almost 9 days.
