After five years of exemplary service by Guido Rosignoli as the editor of our Journal, it is understandably his desire to now retire from that position.
Guido, thank you very much for all your hard and dedicated work.
I am now seeking, on behalf of our Chairman, your suggestions both for a successor to Guido, and how we might restructure our publications and communications programmes. Please do not assume by this invitation that there is either desire or need to terminate these programmes. I am asking your thoughts on how we can move it forward.
It is possible to reach about one-quarter of our membership via computer communications. But this cannot be an excuse to provide less service via the print medium. The computer should be accepted as a means to provide more rapid service, not more content.
