Message:   Notwithstanding the fact that my 4 year old daughter died in Trieste I think that it was one of most enjoyable postings that I had during my service.Then one day I found the BETFOR website.
I managed to get in touch with some of the fellows that I had served with and also others who had served in Trieste at different times with other Regiments.
Then what joy Patrick managed to resurrect our message board . We could communicate again, but, suddenly we don't know if we have a committee or not and I am afraid that Richard does not want the Association to continue , if this true then please consult the members , get them to elect a committee which wants the Association to thrive and serve its memebers.
Patrick we need you as webmaster to control abuse and foul language ( THAT INCLUDES ALL SOURCES )but,as an honorary member of The BRITISH Element Trieste Force Association I do not think that you should interfere and try to persuade our members to consider ideas that you may or may not have concerning our Association. There are many of us and we are not rabble raisers who want this Association to survive. They are just old soldiers, knowing that time is not in their favour, and want to keep in touch with old friends.
