Tough Loss...
to say that Im disappointed we lost to THAT team would be the understatement of the year!! I cant imagine how the guys must feel if I feel this bad...We were bullying them all over the field yet we failed to convert in the red zone every time we approached it!! I thought the officiating was INCREDIBLY BAD... the hold on Coffey's run that got us down to around the 10 yd line at the end of the first half was a joke ..the flag didnt come out until he was tackled...the running into the kicker at the end to nullify Clark's punt return for a TD seemed meaningless...but hey...if that holds up..we get the onsides...who knows what could have happened...did you notice every time they spotted it for a measurement we were short?? The one guy on our side would get the ball from the other ref to spot it..then move his left foot back 2' and proceed to spot it on his left foot!!!! I couldnt believe it..I dont know what Allis said to the one ref at the end but he certainly deserved it!!.......Opportunity is fleeting...as Ive said all year...and now it is gone.....it was there for the taking...we should have led at the very least 14-0 early in the 2nd...some ill timed turnovers and that really was the end of it....I feel bad for all the guys that worked so hard to get where we were...now its pool play for a couple games....lets go out with Pride and Dignity....kick someone in the MOUTH!!!!.....finish up at 6-3....and everyone will look back and say it was a successful season!! Man am I ****** we lost to those JOKERS!!!

Hey Mike, Again I agree with you. I hurt for the guys too. Lets hope they play these next couple of games as if they were state games. It does matter to go out with dignity. It is probably one of the best lessons we can teach them. Okay Cadets......Go and Win on Friday, break some records and earn some ink. I will be there cheering you on just as I did during the regular season. GO CADETS!!!!!!! |

On behalf of the team I would like to apologize for letting all of our fans down. Sorry you guys had to watch that game and sorry for not living up to our expectations. |
