One more time
Canandaigua was sound on both sides of the line...its the same problem weve had for the last few seasons....when we play an athletic RB like Ghist or the Collier boys...we just dont have enough foot speed/athleticism to tackle those types of backs....we scored 39 points and LOST!!!! that being said...Duell had a great game (277 yds?)...Clarkie ran as hard as you could ask (tied a school record for single season TD's with 16)gained almost 100 yds (93)..the receivers Stanton/Hernandez/Pappas/Moss made some catches I still cant figure out....anyway...lets go out and kick Athena in the mouth (cuz I hate them)...I know they have had kids quit the team before these end of season games before..Courtney Goff quit last year because he didnt want to get hurt before basketball season..got kicked off the team only to be reinstated by the Superintendant of Greece Schools prior to this season!! they wont want to play..hopefully our kids will be fired up to finish above .500...I hope Bret gets a chance to establish a NEW TD record...that would be kind of neat (hope that doesnt sound selfish)..get some kids some playing time...hope noone gets hurt.. and call it a season...its been fun and I certainly do appreciate everything everyone has done for the program and my kid in particular...you all know who I am and of course I will miss the HS Football scene...you should be in good hands with Duell/Stanton/Nichols/Barbaro/Schickler/Behnke and the others coming back.....talk to you after the athena game... |
