I think the decline in the passengers out of season is based a lot on price as opposed to the weather.
Most of the flights landing or departing seem to be half full which makes no sense.
These low cost/budget airlines fly from lots of regional airports saving costs straight away, at the moment I think Gatwick is the only airport flying out; well when you live in Manchester etc the cost rises before you've even got to the check in.
Budget airlines would definitely be more favorable to the passengers its just if these airlines think that its feasible and with the drop in travellers this season perhaps not. |
