The Abilities of Man

Does the natural man have any ability to come to the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation without God the Father graciously granting him that ability and effectually drawing him to Christ?

I wonder where people get, that they have some kind of ability to come to God, When the bible says we are dead in our tresspasses and sin?
