Where in the Bible does it teach that a man has a free will?

It appears that Adam had a choice concerning the fruit in the garden.

Cain had a choice about killing his brother.

Abraham had a choice about his seeking a city and also about his lying in Egypt.

This story can go on and on. Man making choices in life gives the understanding that the will of man is free.

Adam WAs the only man that had a freewill.We have a frewill allright.But look what the frewill done for Adam.The bible says we chose darkness rather than light.This is what our frewill will do.It will take everyone of us straight to hell.

You said: Our free will will take us straight to hell.

Question: Are you saying then that we do have a free will?

OH Ya we have one.

But it has nothing to do with God.It don't wont anything to do with Him.This is what Paul said about his frewill.(Eph 3:1 KJV) For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles,

This verse here plainly shows that Paul was a prisoner of Christ.So now it is not our will that needs to be done, but God's alone.Our heart is despratly wicked, and He is the only one that knows it.And He is the only one that can change it.So now, our will, would be His will.
