Hi I am also Moving to NO to attend Tulane. I am looking for places to rent, but I need a house with a garage (I do a lot of tinkering on my car). My main concern is that I have to go down (from Michigan) to look for a place and I don't know of anywhere that I can stay for a week inexpensively. Does anyone know of any student housing or a hostel I could stay at for a week? Money is a huge issue, I will have money when school starts but that's about 4 months after I move there, so I need to find some sort of hotel or something that is dirt cheap (but not super sleazy) :)
