I'm glad they decided to air condition the new ones and even more happy that they are keeping the original un-airconditioned 900 series on St. Charles. Really keeping history there. I heard somewhere that the St. Charles line is the oldest continuously running streetcar line in the world, do you know if that's true or have you heard that too?

Yes, I'm excited about the Canal Streetcar line as well! Taking the streetcar to work is great! No worries about where you are going to park, and how much is it going to cost you. Just jump on the streetcar, read a book or take in the view, whatever.....and relax 
Luckily for you - yours will be AIR CONDITIONED! Lucky guy! Although, with a nice breeze the old fashioned streetcar is just fine
