What does Above/Below Canal refer to when looking at classifieds?

Hi Ed,



Above canal refers to anything "left" or "uptown" of Canal Street...areas that would be in this category are mostly Uptown, Irish Channel, Garden District, and the Lower Garden District.



Below canal refers to anything "right" or "downtown" of Canal - mostly refers to Esplanade Ridge, Faubourg Marigny, Bywater, etc.
