Emily-You are amazing. There is such a world of difference visiting your site than the doomsday group on the NOLA page. Read that for a while and I feel like I might as well try to swim the Alantic rather than move to New Orleans! Thank you, thank you, thank you. You are without a doubt one of the most giving human beings I have ever come in contact with. Someday hope to return the favor.

Hi Cami!

Audubon Park has stables that you can rent by the 1/2 hour and hour I believe. When I checked it was $20 for a 45-min. guided ride. City Park also offers horses to rent by the hour. For more info., visit:

I haven't seen any info on riding stables. I like to horseback ride but don't own my own ride. Anything happening in the city (or very close). P.S. Not talking poor broken down trail horses that know a single route by heart and just follow to get back to barn to feed. Last part of this question: Do you know if it is $$$$? Where I am know it's about $60/hr for private lesson in an indoor area.
