Re: Dvd from 1965

If you were in the '65 corps, this is the next best thing to a time machine. I couldn't stop laughing. I only wish there was sound! $20 price tag, $1,000,000 memories!!

Re: Dvd from 1965

I'll second John's comment. There's some great stuff. The end of the DVD includes the entire prelim performance from the VFW State contest. That may be the only movie of a corps performance from the mid-60s. The music is missing, but we have to remember that was before VHS and Digital cameras.

Thanks Lenny!

I understand that Rich Tessitore also has some home movies that are going to be put on a DVD. I expect these will cover the time the Tessitore family was in the corps--mid 1950s thru mid 1960s.

Also, Keith Normandin and I have been working on putting together a collection of recordings of Norwood on CDs. We'll post something on the website when something is available. There are also CD recordings of Norwood available through Digital Audio Resources--www.digitalcds.com. (1965 Legion State, Milwaukee 1966 and the 1966 Illinois Top 4 recording plus some recordings from the 1950s).
