Sad News

I received this email from John McAleer regarding the passing of his Mom. John marched with us in the mid '60's and is a terrific friend. Please keep John and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

Hi, Some sad news to my friends. I am in Aurora, Ill. Mom passed away yesterday at 2 am. It is a blessing to see the pain end. Services are Saturday 7/19 at 9:30 am at Holy Angels Church in Aurora, Il.

Re: Sad News

MORE about the "sad news" which Bill noted:

John's mother, Dorothy McAleer, died July 14 following a long battle with cancer. Services were held July 19 at Holy Angels Church in Aurora, IL. Thanks to those Imperials alums who were able to attend.

But more bad news. John and his wife, Marcia, had just finished with his mother's service when they heard that her oldest son, Ryan Black, had died a tragic death. They are back in California now planning for services for Ryan.

Our condolences to John and Marcia for these sad events.
