Cadet David Welch

Some time ago, my friend in the Holy Name Cadet alumni group advised me about a Cadet alum (now in his late 20s) who is suffering from a serious brain tumor. He has been fighting this with various, often painful, treatments for some time.

I have traded e-mails with David Welch a few times and have been impressed by his steadfast determination to beat this illness.

While some progress had been made, the doctors recently found ANOTHER tumor. This is a serious setback.

We have all had friends or acquaintances who have had serious health problems, sometimes with no real hope for recovery. This is a reminder that this can happen to anyone, anytime. Stay close to your friends and family.

Also, say a prayer for Cadet David Welch.

What did you do in the Corps? drummer

What years were you a Corps member? 1958- 63

Re: Cadet David Welch

Just prayed. Amen.
