1967 Drum Corps video

Wow. One of our alums sent me a video which shows various corps at the 1967 AL Nationals in Boston. These include Blessed Sacrament, Royal Airs and Boston Crusaders. What a trip back in time.

The video includes a great piece about the US Marine Drum Corps and Col. Truman Crawford, their Director. This shows his retirement ceremony in 1998 at the USMC Barracks in Washington. A wonderful piece of drum corps history!

Maybe I can get this onto our website too

Re: 1967 Drum Corps video

Dave,

That sounds like the "When Drum Corps was Really Drum Corps" video that Larry McCormick produced for the Cavaliers' 50th Anniversary. It's a tremendous series for the drum corps history buff!

What did you do in the Corps? Snare; Drum Major; Drum Instructor/Arranger

What years were you a Corps member? 1970-73; 78-79
