I don't remember that one, which leads me to think it was 72? I went up to the A corps that year, but Steve was still in the Cadets and Dad was managing. I hope someone remembers the details!

It was after some parade
We all got on the ferries wheel except the contras and drum line and started playing
I don’t remember the parade or the song we played

I think it was the A corp but not sure

If there were contras around, it was definitely the A corps. I didn't know you ever marched in the A corps. I only remember you from the Cadets.

2 or 3 years not sure in the A corp.
One year my brother was the horn instructor
and your brother march with me.

That had to have been 1973, because it was the only year Steve marched in the A corps. And speaking of Steve, today would have been his 48th birthday.

Just think how many GREAT pictures we could have had of things like that, but nobody ever thought to take one (or had a camera)! We were too young to consider ever "looking back".

I remember watching the A corps play on a ferris wheel when I was in the cadets (74-75). I believe it was a carnival at the Skokie Post.
