Here come the Holy Name Cadets!

The Blue Devils and Carolina Crown have been very dominant, to this point, for sure! Tonight (7/7), however, in Virginia, it was Carolina 84.50 and Holy Name 84.05. It's getting interesting, all of a sudden.

... and the Cadets and the Cavies tied for first in a recent contest.

I'll still place my bet on the Blue Devils as being on top, unless the fans take over, as happened last year for Phantom... the Phans ruled for them and the G.E. judges listened.

1. I don't think that GE judges listen to the crowds.

2. The Cadets .. for one year, the Holy Name Cadets ... might be a real "dark horse" this year. Go to the HNC alumni website for some interesting background: www.the holynamecadets.org

It's nice to hear their using that name once again even though its just for awhile.

The Cadets are celebrating their 75th anniversary this year.

They chose to "rename" the Corps the Holy Name Cadets (the corps original name) for this year. This has become a very emotional year for all Cadet alumni .. especially those from the early days.

The name I'd prefer to hear is The Blessed Sacrament Golden Knights

...and best of all... The Norwood Park Imperials!

I second that John,it would be nice to hear that
name again.I wonder what if anything is going on
with them,besides their reunion corps.When I go on
their web-site which is one of the best I've seen
besides ours,there isn't anything said about them
fielding a competitive corps like they once
talked about in the past.They have added a great
U-TUBE site with a lot of past contests,along
with shows their Alumni Corps has played in.

I found some of the Utube stuff on SAC. Looks like they took a collage of photos or some home movies and put the season's show audio to them. Good stuff.

Will have to check out their site. Haven't been there in a while.
