new documentary film, THROW IT DOWN!

I don't know if any of you have seen it. It's the Bluecoats new documentary film, THROW IT DOWN. It is the best I've seen on the lives of corps members throughout one summer. The Coats are selling the dvd at their booth at shows, and on dci.org. Good film!

There have been many of those throughout the years. There was one in 1965 featuring the Cavaliers called "The Contest". Then DCI did one in 1979 featuring Spirit of Atlanta called "One Night in August."

What did you do in the Corps? Snare, Drum Major, Drum Instructor/Arranger

What years were you a Corps member? 1970-73; 78-79

This film lasts 1:23. The documentary film's directors are entering it in various film festivals around the country, in the documentary category. They have done a few festivals already.
