2009 DCI Champions--Blue Devils

I just checked the DCI site and the Blue Devils won DCI with a 1.5 margin over Carolina, Garfield in third, the Cavaliers in fourth with Santa Clara in fifth and Bluecoats in 6th. The defending champions, Phantom Regiment were in 9th.

So 2009 was an undefeated season for the Blue Devils. The Blue Devils B corps won the open class and they were also undefeated. Don't believe any drum corps organization has had both their main corps and B-corps not only win their respective championships but both corps went undefeated.

Re: 2009 DCI Champions--Blue Devils

And if the season had been a week longer, Phantom might have dropped out of finals! The last time they lost to Blue Stars in finals was 1975. But there was no movement at the top all week, which is unusual.
