Here's the link to the 2009 Top Secret Drum Corps.

This video much better quality than the 2006 or so version. Really cool ending.

Re: 2009 Top Secret Drum Corps

Thanks for posting that John! WOW! That group just gets better every year. Great stickwork, visuals (the hats even are part of it), and the drumming is very good. Running down a long roll while marching in that circle!

The finale is amazing! Flaming drum sticks!

Re: 2009 Top Secret Drum Corps

VERY cool, and better than the first one (other than the guy dropping a stick).

Re: 2009 Top Secret Drum Corps

Yes, these guys are great drummers ... and they put on a great show.
I also love the flag work, the marching and the special effects. But, the best part is that it is a well coordinated presentation.

Re: 2009 Top Secret Drum Corps

And no electronic amplification was used! Funny how a drumline can "progress" to be modern and yet still appeal to a tremendous range of ages.

Re: 2009 Top Secret Drum Corps

I never even notice the flags (sorry Donna)...

Flags???

Re: 2009 Top Secret Drum Corps

Sure.. flags! They are there and they were well used as part of the visual program in total!

Re: 2009 Top Secret Drum Corps

Whatever...

Snare drums, lots of notes, tosses, flaming sticks - that's what I saw!

There may have been some bass drums too...

Re: 2009 Top Secret Drum Corps

YES! The tuned "rudimental" bass drums are excellent too.

Re: 2009 Top Secret Drum Corps

I watched the drums in this video and they were great. But when there is a full field show, I listen to the drums and horns and watched the flags and rifles. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
