Sad news: Dick Bingham

Just received this note today:

Dick Bingham passed away. He was the Imperials Bus Driver in the 1960s, owner of Davidsmeyer Bus Company, Mid-America Charter and American Consolidated Transportation.

Imperials of that era will remember Dick, and his co-driver, Gene well. We had a lot of fun with these fine guys .. and they were great supporters of the corps.

He was 72. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Karen, and his children Rob and William. He was preceded in death by daughter Kimberly.

His wake is today (March 16), at Grove Memorial Chapel, 1199 S. Arlington Heights Road, Elk Grove Village

Re: Sad news: Dick Bingham

It would be GREAT if all corps members who remember Dick would post comments to his Guest Book on the Daily Herald site! What a great "thank you" to him.
