WORLD NEWS AND POLITICS VS. CORPS NEWS & FRIENDS

Gosh.. so much in the media, the internet and even our daily e-mail
that makes us depressed.

Better to see the friendship, contacts and memories of the Corps.

Yes, I know that we have to stay involved in the world. But, it is even better to stay connected to your corps friends.

Re: WORLD NEWS AND POLITICS VS. CORPS NEWS & FRIENDS

AMEN! And try being in education every day, with the government aggressively trying to take over and teachers scared to death about losing tenure, having their pay tied to student achievement (imagine the dumbest kid you went to school with - or marched with - and then put his success as the determination of YOUR pay), but still trying to keep the kids first. So this forum, and the friendships it has rekindled or started, is so important.

And I think Dave's underlying message is WHERE IS EVERYBODY! Time to come out of hibernation and get back at it!

Stepping off the soapbox now...

But at least we'll have gov't health care to...
Oh man, I can't finish this...too depressing.

And speaking of where is EVERYONE, for those of us that remember the Firesign Theatre, that begs the question:"How can you be in two places at once - when you're not anywhere at all?"

Deep or shallow, we definitely have a hibernation issue here.

You would think that SOMEBODY would wake up and help us out. Kinda reminds you of the performer on stage just waiting for the tomatoes - but nothing.

In the years since this site started there has always been a hibernation issue this time of year. Maybe things will pickup when the DCI season starts.
That also seems to spark an interest.
