I am now a Principal - yes, that person you all dreaded being sent to. So watch out! But we can't paddle these days, no matter how much they need it...

What did you do in the Corps? Snare; Drum Major; Drum Instructor/Arranger

What years were you a Corps member? 1970-73; 78-79

I figured that would be your answer. You will now probably get parents complaining that a teacher gives their kid bad grades because the teacher doesn't like their kid, etc. My son-in-law's mother is a principal of a Catholic Elementary School and she tells us all the stories.

My most heartfelt congratulations. It is an honor well deserved and earned. Unfortunately, Marilyn is not here to give you advice about all the pitfalls that you will face, but it could be worse because after being principal of a grammar school and of Alvernia, she was director of admissions for undergraduate studies at UIC. Next to that, all the rest are cake walks. Good Luck to you and my best to Shary because she is the one who is going to have to put up with the stressed out grouch who comes home every day.
