You can then add your own comment by clicking the REPLY button for any message.  If you click the QUOTE button on a message, that message will be copied into your reply so that it's clear what your reply is about.

You can start a New Topic as well. Just click the START A NEW POST link below.

All we ask is that you keep it neat, clean, polite, and reasonably intelligent.

IMPERIALS ALUMNI DIRECTORY NOW ON LINE!

Ever wonder what happened to that best friend you knew when you were in the Corps? Take a look at the new Alumni Directory (Imperials and Cadets), now included on our website, and find out where they are now.

The Directory was originally created and maintained for many years by our good friend Dale Bowman (Imperials brass, 1950s). When his health began to fail, alumna Joan Underwood Manly (Imperials French horn, 1970-73), took it over and maintained it until work pressures halted that.

Alumnae Donna Larsen Gatlin (Imperials Guard 71-74) and Ginny Gill Kontopoulos (Imperials Guard 76-80, Cadets 70-73) have updated the Directory. Donna took all our saved notes, and the alumni updates, and updated the master file. Ginny then formatted it into a downloadable and printable PDF document. The new Directory can be downloaded and printed, and it can also be E-mailed.

Great work by Donna and Ginny! Many thanks! We have wanted to get this task done for several years!

To get access to the Directory:

. go to the IMPERIALS website and log on to the Alumni Center page.
. Click on the Alumni News and Directory page (shown below the boxes for the Forum, etc.)
. Click on IMPERIALS ALUMNI DIRECTORY in the text.

You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view the Directory. If you don't have it, or need to upgrade, you can download it free by clicking on a link shown on the access page.

When you have updates or corrections to be made to the Directory, send them to: imperialdirectory@earthlink.net and they will be received by Donna and Ginny for action. There is also an automatic link on each Directory page to make it easy.

Note: Please remember that all alumni listings (including the e-mail list) should be kept confidential and considered private information. Do not share these items outside of the Imperials family. (In some cases, alumni e-mail addresses were omitted by request.)

As you read the Directory, you will see that there are a lot of entries with only partial information. There are a lot of MISSING alumni too. We will need help from all Corps alumni to "fill in the blanks". Start looking for your old Corps friends and send their information in for the Directory.

Re: IMPERIALS ALUMNI DIRECTORY NOW ON LINE!

Have you all checked this out and verified that your information is correct?

If not, do it soon!

Re: IMPERIALS ALUMNI DIRECTORY

The alumni directory we publish on the corps website shows only the CITY/ TOWN of residence for our alumni (and their e-mail). It is part of the ALUMNI CENTER. We DO have a FULL Directory which shows telephone numbers and street addresses. We don't include it on the website for security reasons.

If you want this full Directory to be sent to you by e-mail, I can do that. Otherwise, you can ask me (or Donna Larson) if you need this information about an alumnus.

In the meantime, we need to update this for our use. If your address, telephone number or e-mail address has changed, please let Donna know.

Send to Donna Larson Gatlin at: donna91858@comcast.net
