The LEAST memorable...

What is the LEAST memorable first place (championship) show of the last decade (2001-2010... ok, make it, 2000-2010)?

Re: The LEAST memorable...

Well, I didn't SEE all of these in person (some via internet, some just by hearsay) but here are some which I'd include:

1. 2010 Blue Devils .... what was THAT all about? "Through a Glass Darkly"?
2. 2001 Cavaliers ("Four Corners")
3. 2002 Cavaliers ("Frameworks") .. confusing
4. 2005 Cadets ("Dreamscapes") ... ?
5. 2006 Cavaliers ("Machine") ... dull

While perhaps not "least memorable", I'd say the 2008 "Spartacus" show by the Phantom Regiment was the "most in bad taste".

1991 Star of Indiana - they were much better the previous year.

Re: The LEAST memorable...

I take exception to Bob's comment about the Blue Devils show. Any repitore that includes a popular standard song like "Laura" based on a Stan Kenton arrangement is memorable. The 2010 show wasn't as enjoyable as 2009 but any corps that plays recognizable music should be memorable.

Re: The LEAST memorable...

My least memorable winner, of the last 11 years, is 2010 Blue Devils. The first half of the show was very good, tho not as good as the last two years of B.D. shows, which were both outstanding beginning to end. The second half of the 2010 show... what in the heck was that?! So, I play the cd 1/2 way and then skip on to the next show on the cd, when I'm driving my car. Works for me.
