Sad News

My Father, Ron Shreffler, passed away this morning from Alzheimer's Disease, which he had fought for over 10 years. Ron was Manager of the Imperial Cadets in 1971-72, and Quartermaster of the Imperials in 1972-73, including the trip to New Orleans driving that wonderful truck. He also marched five years with the Racine Kilties Senior Corps, and was named Kiltie of the Year one year. And he marched 20 years with the Joliet American Legion Band, during which time the band was undefeated, winning both AL State and National Championships every year.

I do not know any details on services at this point, but will post when I do. Shary and I are driving up and will be there sometime late tomorrow.
