So .... whassup with you all?

Not a new real "topic" of importance, just wondering what's going on!
Couldn't hurt to say something to your alumni friends!

As for me and wife Ruth ...

. enjoy having a new great-grandson!
. we are active with projects and volunteer work here
. waiting for SPRING to come!
. trying to stay ahead of health issues (sound familiar to anyone?)

Back to work after some time off for the holidays---
My son Jake is home from Arizona State for a month--- Also waiting for Spring---

Back to school yesterday after two weeks off with the grandkids and a wonderful Christmas! Trying to heal the arm - starting physical therapy soon, another surgery to remove the screw that has worked its way loose, and possible bone grafts down the road. Mostly I need a better story for all of this than falling down while roller skating!

Enjoying the fact that I don't have to deal with snow and sub freezing weather.

Resting prior to gearing up for work on two $1 billion construction projects in San Francisco and Seattle.

Watching bowl games and NFL. Expect the Bears will be gone after the first game. Since Big Ten stunk things up in majore bowl games this year (except for the NFL team in Columbus) have adopted the Leland Stanford Junior University team this year. But dissappointed the Orange Bowl officials wouldn't let the Stanford band do a half time show at the game. They are banned from performing in Oregon, Washington, Los Angeles, Ann Arbor, South Bend and now Miami.

They should be? sheeesh.. I LOVE watching the marching bands no matter who they!
