DRUM CORPS WORLD

Many corps alumni remember Drum Corps World, an important corps magazine for over 60 years!

Sadly, Drum Corps World has ceased to be a PRINT magazine, due to rising costs and limited subscriptions. However, the publisher, Steve Vickers, is continuing the magazine as on ON-LINE (Internet) offering. :)

You can sign up for a FREE subscription to Drum Corps World at -- www.high-velocity-media.com. The first issue will come on your computer May 2.

Actually, it is quite good. Lots of interesting reports, pictures and features .. including LOTS of stuff from the 1960 and 70s.

Re: DRUM CORPS WORLD

I noticed that DCW recently added six pages to the January/February issue, including Pat Chagnon's "Around the junior drum corps world" and 21 striking photographs of DCI junior corps, along with press releases announcing a special percussion/jazz event in Indianapolis January 14 and four alumni I&E competitions during the next three months on the East coast.

Lots of activity!
