IMPERIALS MOTHERS CLUB

Frank Grana sent me a photo of the Mothers Club recently ... circa 1960 - 62. (We are working on getting the date settled).

The photo was sent to the alumni e-mail list for comments .. we need to clarify the names. We hope to add this photo to the corps website photo area too.

Gosh, how much we owe to these hard working ladies! They worked very hard to bring funds to the corps ... Cherry Tree socials, spaghetti dinners, paper rolling parties, you name it! They were there!

See other tributes to them in the thread... UNSUNG HEROES

Re: IMPERIALS MOTHERS CLUB

I think that last name should be Carol Burck. They had two or three kids in the Cadets, although I don't think any of them ever entered the 'A' corps (although Jeannie did march in Guardsmen for a while). I actually took her to my homecoming sophomore year of high school, and we spent a good bit of time at their house during the summers.

Re: IMPERIALS MOTHERS CLUB

I am getting a lot of replies from alums about this photo. Getting mothers names. Getting a LOT of nice comments about their work.

Note: seems like the photo might be from 1960 .... still working on that.

When done, I will send again to alums with names. Hopefully, we will even get this onto the PHOTO section of the website.
