OCCUPY DCI?????

MAYBE the people who believe drum corps should be returned to the community level .. and not reserved for the rich, older kids who can afford touring .... should OCCUPY DCI?

Well, I know that it isn't that simple ... there are a LOT of factors involved: economic and social. And, maybe the days of "community" activities are gone?

And, there are a LOT of people who like DCI fine just the way it is.

But, an "Occupy" protest at a major DCI event sounds interesting!

Would sort of be like the IC Reveries sit in on the starting line at 1966 VFW.

And the Reveries kind of got their way - they were allowed to perform - but these people won't.
