Inexpensive Chicago hotels

The Chicago Tribune recently had a feature about "Inexpensive Chicago hotels". Thought you might want to refer to this in case you need Chicago hotels for a visit or a special event ....

Actually, the hotels are really good. These aren't cheap little dives .. great places in great locations .. some down in the Loop, others on North Michigan or the River North areas. Good rates .. some have suites. Most have valet parking at an added fee (about $40 per day) .. but one or two have free parking.
