New Jersey

I was in New York-- New Jersey area last week. Sunday and Monday I was close to the site of the 1965 World's Fair. That area has now changed Queens version of Chinatown. Very upscale (just like Jersey City). No street gangs like 1965.

Tuesday through Thursday I was in Fairfield NJ. Made a wrong turn off Interstate 80 and ended up in Garfield NJ and went through Hawthorne NJ to get back on the right road. Areas look like older suburbs of Chicago (1940s to early 1960s houses). The towns around Garfield and Hawthorne were also the setting for a lot of the scenes from the Sopranos HBO series.
