Re: 2004 Royal Airs Reunion Corps

actually, I think that the only year the RoyalAirs were the REUNION corps was 2002. That year, their entire show was RA music.

Later, the corps became the RoyalAirs senior exhibition corps .... and they may have started using music other than only RA stuff. Not sure.

Re: 2004 Royal Airs Reunion Corps

It was just strange to hear a drum solo played by a reunion/all-age corps that was originally played 7 years AFTER that corps had folded, let alone that I played it myself.

Re: 2004 Royal Airs Reunion Corps

BOB,
The R.A. drum major in 2004 came from Phantom regiment. He was their former D.M.
Some of what they played horn wise, was not R.A.music.
The drum arranger was in fact a Cavalier.his name is Paul Swoverland(only guessing at the spelling)
Hope this helps

Re: 2004 Royal Airs Reunion Corps

Adam,

Great seeing you out here! Are you still with the Kilties? You guys up there gave my Dad five fantastic years, and got him through losing Mom; I will always owe you all for that.

And Paul Swoverland we all knew as Skip, and I do know him. Thank you for the info!

Bob
