Well, who's ready for a new BAND SEASON?

What did you do in the Corps? Baritone, DrumMajor

What years were you a Corps member? 67-72

with each passing year, DCI moves further away from 'drum corps' and more into the realm of marching bands. As it does, I lose more and more interest.

Trombones and concert French horns are legal this year. Saxophones aren't far behind. Then we have summer band and fall band - drum corps will be no more.

I heard that allowing various wind instruments was a possibility and now that they are here, I will never go to another drum corps show again.

We rarely get a show here in Florida anyway, so I don't feel like I have to avoid it - it's just not here! Which is fine...

DCA Sr. Show in St. Augustine on June 28. Florida Brass will be there. We have many who belong from the East Coast. Orquesta Dee Jay, you should check out one of our rehearsals. We have former members of Blessed Sac, Holy Name Cadets, Sky, Cabs, Hurcs and many others. We play on G bugles to music written by HoF Dick Burns.

I think that Florida Brass is from Tampa
