All Drum Corp Picnic

To all those that were at the picnic yesterday, it was great to see you again. To those who didn't come, you missed out on a opportunity to see old friends and enjoy a great day of friendship. Remember, one of these days you will ask yourself, whatever happened to...
And it will be too late.

Re: All Drum Corp Picnic

PLAN YOUR TRIP TO CHICAGO FOR THE

6TH ANNUAL ALL DRUM CORPS ALUMNI PICNIC

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 19, 2015
11:00 am to 6:30 pm

Place: Fox River Forest Preserve
(1st Pavilion upon entering…on right) – LARGE PAVILION
28034 W Roberts Rd, (Barrington) (Some GPSs use 28500)
Port Barrington, IL (1 mile West of Route 59 on Roberts Road –
north of Route 22) - South side of street…map will follow)

The same location as last year has been secured. This beautiful and large facility on the Fox River is kept very clean, has modern indoor restroom facilities, many electrical outlets, BBQ grills and a fireplace.

Picnic tables and benches are provided at the grove…however, you are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets (and a pop-up canopy if you wish).

There will be NO FEE to anyone for the picnic. However, there will be a monetary raffle, since expenses are incurred in acquiring the pavilion, etc. Your participation is appreciated by the organizing team and helps keep this event ongoing.!

Bring your own food and drinks. IMPORTANT NOTE: Liquor IS allowed on the premises, BUT ALL liquids must be in plastic or aluminum containers…no glass please!!! (Upon cleanup of the last picnic, I found glass bottles…if we want to continue having the picnics in this beautiful grove, we need to follow their rules)! Please pay attemntion to this in the future!
If you would like to barbecue, grills are provided at the pavilion, but you will need to bring your own
charcoal.

There is a lot of time to form an ensemble, duet, etc. for entertainment. We already have a commitment from the fabulous JOBE Third Coast to perform again. We are anxious to hear from other corps. How about some of you Madison Scouts, Vanguards, Imperials, Kilties, etc. form an ensemble to perform at the picnic?!

Please contact Adrianne at adigirl48@sbcglobal.net if you are planning to perform at the picnic, so that we can fit you in the schedule.

This event has drawn interest from our East and West Coast drum corps friends who have been following our Facebook posts. I now have representatives who will be distributing flyers to their corps.
