The event was a great success. Los Lonely Boys rocked the house. I hope to see them again soon. The whole festivities was good only I wish there would have been some mariachis to have entertained us. I know this is a Tejano showcase, but I think this event should go back to their roots and bring famous mariachi bands such as Campanas de America or Mariachi Internacional. Other than that good job.

Thank you for your suggestion. We had mariachis a few years ago to fill in a 40 min. gap between bands and boy were we bombarded with complaints. I feel the same way you do; it is not Tejano but it is still part of our heritage.

Rachel your right, I remember. As a matter of fact, the banner that is on the web page for the "TejanoVibes message board ~ Your opinion Matters" that's what those postings are referring to, "Mariachi before Little Joe, WTF." I still remember reading those messages.
