Grupo Vida/ Electric Cowboys did an awesome show Thursday night in Odessa, Tx @ Uncle Bulls. Great atmosphere and great crowd. Saw some friends there that I hadn't seen in a while. They also performed in Pecos, Tx Friday night for the West of the Pecos Rodeo. Did their country stuff and had a great response. They are back in Midland, Tx July 1 at Cabana's Sports Bar and Grill. Anyone that went to La Diferencia or DLG, how was it?

Another event that has kind of been hidden and not talked about much is the Mainstreet Odessa concert series held at Noel Plaza in downtown Odessa on Friday nights. They host all different types of music from country, gospel,bluegrass to folk music.
But, on Friday,July 30 they will have the Grammy nominated "Texmanics" of Max Baca and David Farias.
These concerts are FREE to the public,just bring your lawn chairs or blankets to sit on. They have food and beverage vendors (no beer) available for purchase. So make plans to come to Downtown Odessa and "surprise" these great artist with a big turnout.

The Mainstreet Odessa concerts run from late May to early August on Friday nights in downtown Odessa. You can go to their website, mainstreetodessa.com, and get more information. They have the band schedule, and contact person listed. Good luck to you and the Matadors.

Yes, this Friday the Texmanics of Max Baca and David Farias will be at Noel Plaza in downtown Odessa. It runs from 8pm-10pm.You need to bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on. Food and drinks will be available for purchase..NO ALCOHLOIC BEVERAGES ALLOWED.

They have the type of music that they play listed as "mexican folk music" Sounds like they need a "Tejano" on Mainstreet Committee. Any volunteers?
