Juaquin and The Texas Jewels (aka: Los Curitas) Release New Single

** New Single "Eternamente Mia" Release **

Starting out as a 3-man band and now coming to you with a full orquesta, we re-introduce to you, currently, the youngest Tejano Recording Artist, 16 year-old Juaquin Cura; originally of Los Curitas, who was founded in 2004 by his grandfather, Colorado Chicano Music Hall of Famer, Henry Salas.

Along with his older brother, bass and guitar player, 18 year-old "JohnE", the two brothers have already reached Tejano charts with their first release of "Cuatro Vidas" in 2008 & 2009. They have been working hard to complete their album while balancing school and family life. They continue to overcome obstacles while looking for and finding their right nitch just as many upcoming Artists do.

Already making waves, see what established Artist, Tony "Ham" Guerrero, had to say about the boys:

"We at Tortilla Records feel that Los Curitas are for real and we love what they are bringing to the table......Now with all the new changes happening.......Los Curitas have a new style all of their own...and personally I like them because they are bringing class and elegance to our genre which has been missing it for a long time...........along-side being very very good and promising young musicians
Hey Guys.................Tortilla Loves You!"

Juaquin and The Texas Jewels officially released their single "Eternamente Mia" on July 7, 2010. An original song written by his grandfather's best friend, Armando Cardenas and arranged by Armando's son, Arnold Cardenas formerly of La Diferenzia. A father/son's and Grandfather/grandson's project, makes this upcoming album not only meaningful, but refreshing as a new but old sound of Tejano is born... An Old School/New Skool, mix!

Produced by John Ontiveros, Grammy award winning trumpet player, John embraces and passes the Tejano musical torch in a collaborated effort with both young and seasoned Tejano musicians to keep our music alive, strong and refreshing! This original song is sure to "wow" listeners of all ages! We invite you to hear the newest release "Eternamente Mia" by Juaquin and the Texas Jewels, available to the public on iTunes soon!
