recently visited moreton in marsh by public transport (always have a plan b in life) and found very bad taxi service at the railway station of 10 phone numbers none repeat non could offer a service i also found no bus service along the a44 to chipping norton - why not.
Local authority should check with shropshire council on its shropshire link bus service.
Dont believe gloucestershire is so different in its bus needs.
Interesting to note that some 300 houses are being built on the old fire college site - how is mim going to cope with the additional cars etc.

Regarding buses - there is a bus service between Moreton-in-Marsh and Chipping Norton on the A44 road and for planning a trip purposes we do provide link details from our home page to Traveline Southwest which would have given you times of buses and location of stops.

We are sorry you had difficulty in getting a live taxi out of the 10 listed at the station. We shall take this up with Moreton-in-Marsh station authorities.

Concerning the new development of houses on the Fire Training college site on the fringe of the town. The due Planning process has been gone through and appropriate steps are being taken to cater for the additional services required.

The Cotswolds, even in the height of the summer season, never gets too busy with traffic - I live here and what a wonderful place to be.
