Okay Heather- I got you beat. In 2004 I became a
G-ma,or Maw-Maw. I hardly ever use the word grandmother or grandma. Let's see I was 38 years old.
Way sooner than I ever planned on having a grandson, I mean the youngest of my three daughters was only 6 years old. Ugh. But everything worked out and now it is life as usual. It is very hard to picture our lives with out Trent now. Oh but get this, my husband is 4 1/2 sometimes 5 years younger than me, so he was only 33 years old when he became PaPaw.
(CeCe, my oldest daughter is from my first marriage to Mike Hepp). Enjoy the baby when he/she arrives.
It's much different being a grandmother (theres that word again) then being a mother. I have found it is much more fun Plus a little pay back never hurt any child
