Welcome to the Watchmen On The Wall Forum

Isaiah 62:6

I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, [which] shall never hold their peace day or night: ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence

1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 KJV

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Quote ReplyThe need for compassion at this time
We should be firm and warn everyone of the soon rapture,
impending tribulation, and end-time events as recorded
by scripture.

However, we should show compassion for others who are
hurting. A few words of encouragement can do wonders.
Someone might be contemplating taking his/her life. Your
acts of kindness can make all the difference in the world.

I have been thinking of a first cousin who committed suicide
just a few weeks after Christmas. He was always laughing and
making others laugh but "inside" he was obviously hurting.
People can put on a "false face" around others when they
are really hurting!

Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?

5 And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest:

37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?

38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?

39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?

40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
