I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, [which] shall never hold their peace day or night: ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence
1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 KJV
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Our rapture date was a failure, it left us in want,
I checked my watch, but God seems always nonchalant.
I walked through the darkness, no shepherd in sight,
The light on a moped, guiding me through the night.
No green pastures here, just a barren land,
I thought He'd lead me, but I don't understand.
My cup is half empty, and my plate's looking bare,
I guess the Lord's dining somewhere else, I swear.
He promised still waters, but the waves are so high,
I'm clinging to a lifebuoy, oh my, oh my!
My soul's feeling weary, my faith's almost gone,
I wish He'd check His schedule and hurry along.
Surely one day, He'll finally come,
With a grand entrance, like a sound of a drum.
In heaven, we'll dine, and His face we'll all see,
When this life is done, together we'll be free.
