Why would true God copycat pagan sun god religions, which predated Christianity?

Rapture may be symbolic for signs in the stars - not literal. Do you really think you're going to poof and disappear into thin air?

If Christ Jesus taketh away the sins of the world, then everyone should be set free from sin, regardless their beliefs or faith. Under Christianity, most churches condemn people who do not share their faith, even if people's were raised in a civilization that never heard of Jesus.

What about the peoples of the earth before Jesus ever came along? Do they automatically go to perdition for something they have no control over?

Something is haywire.
